I'm new here, recently diagnosed with "mild" obstructive airway disease at the age of 40. I quit smoking 1/11/2019 but not soon enough. I feel short of breath more often now and have a referral request in to see a pulmonologist. I take Wixela twice daily and more often lately, albuterol. It's frustrating to be diagnosed so young and after having already quit....plus I am very active and already eat healthy. I have 2 young children and am terrified that I may not see them graduate. Something weird about my disease...I actually feel better during exercise. I am worried I'm rapidly progressing and am just terrified. I don't even know what to ask. Just looking for some hope I guess.
