I think you'd call my case moderate based on what I read so far. I'm on Symbicort (2 puffs 2x per day) and Incruse once/day. No oxygen yet and my pulmonologist seems good. I just got an Oximeter this week (the kind you put on your finger) to start measuring my O2 levels, and the initial readings seem kind of low. My resting level is around 91-92%. I did a 40 minute stationary bike ride for exercise today, and the level dropped down to 84% and then stabilized around 85-86%. Within a minute or so after stopping exercise, the level came back up to 92%. I was working pretty hard but felt fine, no dizzyness or other symptoms. Are any of you doing these kind of measurements, and if so would you be concerned by these readings? I'd appreciate any info you folks can offer, I was reading that any levels under 90% were cause for concern. Wondering whether to book appointment with my pulmonologist to see what he thinks.
