Close Anonymous Unfriend Friend Requested Friend Load More Close Destination Page Area Group Destination Content Title Title Article Type Copy comments We have been having a debate at our local Better Breathers group about what happens if you have Medicare and your oxygen requirement continues more than 5 years. A provider spoke to our group and commented that Medicare pays her for three years and then she "gets to take care of us for 2 years for free". Assuming we are alive after 5 years, do we have to find a new provider? Can our provider of 5 years just drop us? Doesn't seem as if that would be ethical. Can anyone in the community answer this question? The official Medicare website doesn't offer an explanation.
