My name is Vicki and I am. 62 year old career woman who has always been moderately active. I was a heavy smoker for 48 years ~ I quit almost 4 years ago. I plan on retiring when I am 71. I have been working out 3+ times a week for the past 3 years as I want to live a long and healthy life and I want to actively play with my grandchildren and hopefully great grandchildren in the years to come. I also have many travel plans (for when we can travel). My question is this: I though I had 20+ more ‘good’ years (where I could ride bikes, hike, swim, travel), but now I want to know realistically how many more of these ‘good’ years I have as I may need to revisit my goals and start planning some things earlier. Anyone have any advice on this? Ps. Until I found this site I was really freaking out. Why is it the first thing that comes up when I search life expectancy 5 years???? Thx
