I often read posts from folks whose families don't understand COPD and how that affects what they can do, how they do it and essentially all aspects of their lives.  The result is that they feel very alone and marginalized, especially when I read comments like "they think I'm faking it" or " they tell me I just need to get busy and do something".  How did you educate your family?
