Close Anonymous Unfriend Friend Requested Friend Load More Close Destination Page Area Group Destination Content Title Title Article Type Copy comments As you may know, the COPD Foundation has a free app. There is a track for healthcare providers and another for patients and caregivers. The section for the patient community includes inhaler videos, an interactive My COPD Action Plan, a lockable COPD Wallet Card that can store your important contact and health information, an activity tracking component and more. We are proud to announce two updated pages: NEW EXERCISE VIDEOS: We have added several new exercise videos to the app, one of which is fully in Spanish. Many thanks to our colleagues Christina Hunt, RRT and New York-Presbyterian/Columbia’s Fauth Center for Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation for these two sets of videos. We hope you will find something in these activities that is appropriate and helpful for you. As always, check with your physician before starting any exercise program. NEW HOW-TO VIDEOS: Confused on how to use a page in the app or need a refresher? We have updated the How to Use section of the patient & caregiver track to include 10 videos, explaining everything from how to watch our library of inhaler videos to using the COPD Assessment Test, from filling out the Wallet Card to accessing completed My COPD Action Plans via the Calendar. The COPD Pocket Consultant Guide app is free to download at Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Comment to let us know what you think of these new features and how you use the app in your everyday COPD management.
