She commented that given that I was on Metoprolol (which decreases heart rates), she was amazed that I could get it that high.It was my understanding that I should be aiming for a heart rate of 120-130 bpm for the best conditioning, but if the Metoprolol is preventing me from getting that high, I'm wondering what is the solution.Does anyone have any experience with this situation or any information on exercise and Metoprolol?
