I started feeling bad Monday morning, went to an Urgent Care. Dr. told me I had a sinus infection and gave me antibiotic and also had me get an oral steroid pack just in case I worsened with my breathing. So far, I'm OK. Haven't needed steroid. No trouble breathing but still have little sore throat and some congestion in nose. He said it can take up to 2 weeks for infection to clear. Does this count as an exacerbation? Does the antibiotic alone enough?
