A few months ago I found out one of my cockateils has cancer. Of course it has to be the friendliest one of the lot. I had brought her inside as her tail is in a horrid state and she bleeds frequently and needs monitoring but I worry about her dander and my poor messed up lungs. I clean her cage every day....hold and mess with her in the am and pm. Even bathe her....are there any bird owners out there with any other ideas besides getting rid of my favorite friend?
