Before bed, ill take all my medication and such. Ill feel SO tired and hop into bed. I feel ok- i think. Ill start to fall asleep until about 10-15 min later ill feel a big body twitch and ill wake up. Then i realize i feel very deoxygenated. Like my body is just not well nourished for oxygen. So, ill get up and take a puff of albuterol. I can feel it helping just enough so ill lay down again. The jitteriness from that medication causes me to stay awake a bit longer. Then, the entire cycle repeats ALL over again. Before long, ill need to do a nebulizer treatment of albuterol. Which causes me to dreadfully stay up hours longer. Finally i fall asleep. This dance has been so unpleasant and has been happening for months. Is this a sign i need oxygen? I will ask my doctor. Ive done experiments laying down with a pulse ox and it goes down to 92 like clockwork everytime I’m supine. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading!
