I have been diagnosed with COPD since about 2000. I was put on oxygen 24/7 straight away. I take prednisone for my COPD, but it also helps my body with other inflamation caused by Scleroderma and arthritis. Although I was prescribed inhalers early on in my diagnosis, they never did anything for me. In the 22 years that I've had COPD I haven't had a cough, of any kind. I don't wheeze. I don't have excess phlemg in my chest. The only symptom that i have is the inability to exhale all the air that I take in when I breath. If I sit still without my oxygen on, my pulse/ox can drop into the 80s very quickly. Can anybody relate to my particular case of COPD?
