Hello again everyone
I am back with another question or maybe just want to hear other peoples experiences.
I am in the moderate stage of emphysema. I quit smoking in 1994 when I was told I have mild copd , they did not specify what type at the time. I have been told that quitting smoking is the number one thing that you MUST do if you want to slow it down. I have never heard of COPD stopping once you quit smoking, but I heard that you can slow it down significantly if do quit and stay away from fumes vapors, and exercise, stay active. Any thoughts on this? Some of you have alot more insight on this and can maybe tell me what you think? I appreciate any comments and insight .
