“2017 has been a year of great change for our organization and the COPD community,” said Craig Kephart, CEO of the COPD Foundation. “We reached a number of critical milestones: the launch of the first-ever COPD National Action Plan with NIH, the growth of our patient-led COPD Patient-Powered Research Network and COPD360social platforms, the expansion of our global initiatives, and so much more. As the year comes to a close, we want to emphasize our commitment to raising the patient voice in all arenas- whether it is research, advocacy, or care delivery. We are proud to serve as the link between the various COPD community stakeholders, and we look forward to increasing the dialogue and deepening our collaborations as we advance our mission into the future.”
