Hi everyone itโ€™s been a few years since I joined the group when my ct scan showed emphysema changes. Iโ€™ve been keeping very well but recently had a feeling of suffocating but only at night. My go has given me xray(waiting results) and got spirometry Tuesday. I can walk without being breathless and have no other symptoms but since the copd word arouse Iโ€™ve had very severe anxiety attacks and was wondering if you lovely people had any words of encouragement. My mother passed away with severe emphysema in 2011 she did continue to smoke all the way through till it got bad where I gave up 10 years ago xx thankyou xx

Hello everyone new to the group. Will be seeing a pulmonologist next Thursday for spirometry but am pretty anxious. Was hoping someone can answer a question if mine. I recently gotten a chest Ct with maximum mips that came back clear, is it possible I can still have copd? I been having weird breathing issues going imon recently. Quick intermittent shortness of breath while standing or sitting. When I excercise I feel pretty fine. Any ideas? Not really looking for diagnosis but rather experiences
