Additional information about COPD can be found in our various publications, educational programs, and events. COPD Digest: Brought to you by the COPD Foundation, this quarterly publication is available for free to all individual subscribers. The magazine is stocked with up-to-date information on research, legislative issues, and therapies, along with healthy living and exercise articles that help the whole person.
C.O.P.D. Information Line: Operating Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 9PM Eastern Time, the Information Line is staffed by volunteers with COPD who can answer almost any question you may have. The number is toll-free for all U.S. callers: 1-866-316-COPD (2673).
Caregiver’s Information Line: A sub-program of the C.O.P.D. Information Line, the Caregiver’s Information Line is staffed with volunteer caregivers of individuals with COPD. They are there to offer other caregivers support and resources.
Publications: Here you can browse through PDFs of some of the materials we provide, download them, or order a free standard package with these materials by calling the C.O.P.D. Information Line.
Resource Kit: If you’re ready to become an advocate for COPD awareness, this Resource Kit is for you. Developed in the fall of 2007 with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, this Kit has hundreds of educational materials that’s perfect for distributing at support groups, local hospitals or doctor’s offices, or at your community events. Click on the link to read more about the contents of the Kit and what you can do to become an advocate.
