Since 2004, the COPD Foundation has been dedicated to our mission – to prevent and cure Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and to improve the lives of all people affected by COPD.
In the past decade, we’ve been able to make meaningful achievements and develop programs in pursuit of that goal; programs such as the COPD Information Line, the Pulmonary Education Program (PEP), the COPD Patient-Powered Research Network (PPRN), the COPD Biomarker Qualification Consortium (CBQC), the COPDGene Study, and our free educational periodical COPD Digest.
Did you know that is possible for you to make a gift in support of our mission while also ensuring you meet your needs for your lifetime and those of your loved ones? These giving techniques are called “planned gifts” because through a bit of easy planning, you, your family, and the COPD Foundation all benefit.
Please take your time and explore our site. If you would like to find out more, please fill out the contact form below; we’d love to hear from you!
Leaving a bequest to the COPD Foundation in your will or trust and does not cost you anything today, but will support our mission in the future.
You can name the COPD Foundation as a beneficiary of your qualified retirement plan (IRA, 403(b), 401(k), etc.), and still continue to draw from your retirement funds during your lifetime.
If you have more coverage than you need, you can name the COPD Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, or donate ownership a paid-up policy to the COPD Foundation.
