\n The World COPD Day Big Baton Pass started in 2023 as a way to coord
inate global COPD advocacy efforts and bring together healthcare profe
ssionals, advocacy organizations, and the patient/caregiver community
for a united event. The event has grown from a humble 24-hour treadmil
l challenge featuring “COPD Athlete” Russell Winwood and his family to
a day-long, globe-spanning collaboration highlighting every aspect of
COPD care.\n By visiting https://copdbatonpass.org/ at any time globa
lly on World COPD Day, November 19, 2025, viewers will be able to lear
n more about living with the condition, discover new ways to manage sy
mptoms, and even interact with people working on research and educatio
 n programs.
