The COPD Foundation has been the leader and cosponsor of several surveys designed to collect new data about the gaps in the care of the community members. Because of these surveys, the COPDF has been able to demonstrate the needs, such as the need for health care professionals to treat the whole patient—considering co-morbid conditions that need to be part of the COPDers health management.
In this section of our website, we intend to display the findings of surveys we’ve conducted in the past to show the identified (and need to identify) the gaps in proper COPD management.
