COPD Readmissions Summit Live Video Feed

On October 11th the COPD Foundation will convene national health service research experts, policy makers and foremost experts in COPD clinical care to learn, share and plan for the future of reducing COPD related hospital readmissions. The COPD Readmissions Summit will answer key questions such as;

  • How do we create a system that is patient centered (i.e. with attention to other comorbidities and social determinants of health) rather than disease specific (i.e. focused exclusively on COPD)
  • How do we integrate COPD best practices into existing models for reducing hospital readmissions
  • How do we assess the impact (benefits and harms) of COPD related hospital readmission reduction efforts when deployed in practice settings, rather than in controlled research settings

Not able to make it to Washington DC to participate in person?

The COPD Foundation is live streaming the Summit on event day with a digital copy archived for future viewing. If you are interested in attending the Summit via live video stream please click the button in the video player at the top of the page. The cost for event day access and archived access following the Summit is $195 per user. You are welcome to set up a computer in your hospital conference room or other venue and watch with multiple colleagues to reduce the cost. After you register for the Summit you will receive a confirmation email and can return to this page on event day to access the live stream. You will also receive an email with pre-Summit background material and links to any slides available prior to the Summit. On event day we will utilize a twitter chat to allow participants to ask questions throughout the 3 sections of the Summit.

We actually recommend you book your ticket in advance. This way, you avoid the queue (even on internet, it can happen!). Then connect a few minutes before the show. Two ways to get access to the show:

  • from the email receipt you received from Cleeng (check your spam, it may happen it was wrongly classified)
  • directly on the site [URL], and click "Already have a ticket?". Enter your credentials, and that's it!

Yes, the video stream will be available as a replay after the show, to those who previously bought a ticket. So if you missed any moment, you can enjoy again! There may be a slight delay in preparing the final videos, but access shouldn't take longer than a few hours.

Yes, when you purchased on one computer/tablet/phone you can simply use the same credentials to watch on another device. You should bear in mind your access can be restricted when our systems detect abuse. To avoid your account being cut off, don't use more than 2 different devices just before and during the event.
