The Alpha-1 Foundation and the COPD Foundation host the
COPD and Alpha-1 Education Day Series across the nation. These Events
provide workshops and lectures on COPD. Topics such as self-care are
discussed in order to inform COPD patients of all their options. Each topic
helps patients and their care-givers learn more about COPD. The goal is to
improve their daily living. The Events inform patients about how to find
local support.
