The COPD Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been established to speed innovations which will make treatments more effective and affordable, to undertake initiatives that result in expanded services for the COPD community, including health professionals, COPD patients, caregivers, families and concerned individuals, and to improve the lives of patients with COPD and related disorders through research and education that will lead to prevention and someday a cure for this disease.

Its mission is to develop and support programs, which improve the quality of life for persons whose lives are impacted by COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) through:
